Soundtrack of my roadtrip!

Yeah I know in the beginning of my road trip I used to wrote the songs I was listening to along my trip, but since I was putting only the pics, no more time to keep going with the soundtrack, so here's the song or the album I've listening to since the last month I'd say...

The Arcade Fire - Funeral (still not able to remove that one from my CD charger, definatly a masterpiece!)
Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better (I think it's even better than the first one, at least as good)
Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home
Death Cab for Cutie - Soul meets Body
David Banner - Crossroads
BodyRockers - I like the way you move
Antony and The Johnsons - I am a bird now (winner of the 2005 mercury music prize, cheers to clare, she made me discovered them)
Disturbed - I'm Alive
Kanye West - Gold digger
Madball - Confessions (thanks to mathieu)
Our Lady Peace - Wipe That Smile Off Your Face
Rise Against - Siren Song Of The Counter Culture (thanks to jeff for that one)
Notorious B.I.G. - Hypnotized
Rev Run - Mind On The Road
Bedouin SoundClash - When the night feels my song
Supergrass - Tales of Endurance (4, 5 and 6)
Kaiser Chiefs - Oh my god
The Doors - Peace Frog
311- Dont tread on me
The Subways - Young For Eternity (awesome!!!!)

That's pretty much sums it up!
If you the have the time to check those out, they well worth it!

Vancouver International Film Festival

Dear Wendy, A real HISTORY OF VIOLENCE

Last night I went to the Vancouver International Film Festival, and I saw the movie Dear Wendy by T. Vinderberg, written by Lars Von Trier, and it's brilliant, really original, the plot basically is about a group of young adults dressed like cowboys from a thrift store, from a little tiny town, in love with their wacky guns, yeah I know sounds weird, that's what I thought too. But it turned out to be a very interesting movie, really good screenplay, great ending, good casting as well. But yeah, still kinda strange. Definitely worth watching.

I cannot say the same thing about an other movie I saw the other day, A History of Violence by Cronenberg, I dont now what's the big buzz about that movie, I agree, it's a good movie, but oscar worthy? nah. not at all. The actors performance might be oscar material though. But still, you better go see Dear Wendy.

Portland, Oregon!

Hey guys!

So, just got in Portland, Oregon today, about 6 hours ago, and so far I love it. Great place, really nice, clean, a lot of parks and trees. The 21st and 23rd avenue are full of little shops, boutiques, restaurant, coffee place, 2 really beautiful street to walk on. As well as the downtown where is the Pioneer Square, I also went to the Powell's bookstore which is an amazing bookstore, worth seeing.

I'm spending the next 2 days here, and then Seattle for the weekend!

Gotta go now, I'm gonna try to find a nice restaurant, then a nice pub, then a nice club, which I dont think it'll be hard for what I've seen so far of Portland.

Cheers!

Vegas Baby!

Vegas, hum, what to say about Vegas...
What happen in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
;o)
I loved the Vegas!
Definatly going back there.
Yes, it's cheesy, tacky, etc. But it's so amazing and beautiful at the same time, it's the disneyland for adults, everyone would have a great time in Vegas, there's something for everyone.
And I went to the best club I've ever been, the Body English!
